Dr. Danielle Pepe is a licensed clinical and developmental psychologist who also holds a master’s degree in social work. She has over 20 years of experience supporting autistic children and their families. Her work has spanned school, home, and early intervention settings, including leadership roles in NYC’s Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Danielle is deeply passionate about creating inclusive, supportive environments where all children can thrive. Since 2011, she has specialized in autism evaluations and now works full-time at Avela Health, where she provides neurodiversity-affirming assessments for young children. Her approach is grounded in respect, compassion, and a commitment to honoring each child’s unique strengths and communication style.
