Sarah Kernion

Sarah Kernion is a writer, advocate, and mother to three children, including two with profound, non-speaking autism. She is the founder of Saturday’s Story, a platform dedicated to celebrating the lives of neurodivergent individuals and the caregivers who support them. Through personal essays, podcasting, and public speaking, Sarah brings visibility to the often-overlooked experiences of families navigating high-support autism. Her work centers on maternal intuition, radical acceptance, and the call for systemic care solutions. She is honored to contribute to Avela Health’s mission and believes deeply in their whole-family, whole-child model of support across medical, emotional, and developmental domains.
