Position Summary
Avela Health is seeking a hands-on, systems-oriented Director of Product to own and evolve the end-to-end product experience across our care model.
Avela Health provides neurodiversity-affirming, client-centered services for autistic individuals. Our product is not just software, it is the experience of care, encompassing how families access services, how clinicians deliver care, and how internal systems enable quality, consistency, and scale.
This role will own both external (client-facing) and internal (clinical and operational) product experiences. Over time, these domains will bifurcate as the organization matures, but in the near term, this leader will unify the experience and architecture across systems.
This role will also define and lead Avela Health’s AI product strategy, ensuring that AI-driven capabilities meaningfully improve care delivery, clinician sustainability, and family experience, while meeting the highest standards for safety, ethics, and clinical integrity.
This is a builder role: deeply hands-on to start, transitioning toward organizational leadership as the product team matures.
