Behavioral Health Provider (LCSW preferred)

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Provider for Teens and Young Adults provides tailored intervention and support to autistic and neurodivergent individuals using an evidence-based framework that addresses common challenges such as anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, and interpersonal stress. Providers help build coping strategies, flexibility, and self-understanding while supporting growth and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver CBT- and ACT-informed telehealth therapy to autistic and neurodivergent teens and young adults.
  • Incorporate psychoeducation, skill-building, and values exploration into individual and family sessions.
  • Address anxiety, mood, and behavioral challenges through collaborative, strength-based approaches.
  • Support parents (where appropriate) in understanding and responding to their teen’s needs using the Avela model.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to program evaluation and outcomes tracking.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology or social work.
  • MUST have Independent clinical licensure (e.g., LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, BCBA)
  • Experience providing evidence-based interventions from a neurodiversity-affirming stance.
  • Demonstrated ability in engaging individuals via telehealth.
  • Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and collaborative care.
